Series Heart
This series of small collages on hardboard panels leverages a human heart-shaped stencil created for Goodbye (acrylic and paper collage on canvas, 2010-13). It explores memory via vertical shreds of family photos — each largely unrecognizable given selected perspectives. Monotone and multicolored spray paint covers each surface as a foggy mask, one that speaks to the transient nature of thoughts and circumstances.
