Cervidae (Light)

As part of the Cervidae series I created for a solo exhibition in the fall of 2021, I commissioned Cervidae (Light) in neon. In the fall of 2022, I installed the sculpture in a field in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, and then photographed and filmed it in Super 8 as the sun set on the horizon. This setting provided a new environment outside the gallery, one that served unanticipated spatial and luminous results.
